PLEASE READ THE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING, VIEWING, ACCESSING, OR REGISTERING ON THE WEBSITE OR ACCESSING ANY MATERIAL, INFORMATION OR SERVICES THROUGH THE WEBSITE. YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE OR THE SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE WEBSITE SHALL SIGNIFY YOUR UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS AND YOUR AGREEMENT TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THE SAME
Canceling an Order
If you change your mind after placing an order, you can cancel the order within 02 (Two) days of the order confirmation, or before it is shipped, whichever is earlier.
A cancellation fee of 2.5% will be applied to the amount paid by you while processing the refund.
Returning an Item
You can return an item within 07 (Seven) days of the item being delivered to you. Return requests are not accepted after 07 (seven) days from the date of delivery.
What is Eligible for Return?
Damaged – If the item delivered to you is in a damaged condition. In the case of minor damage (like chip-off/scratch/peel-off, torn stitches on upholstery or carpets) customers can choose not to return the item and instead request a carpenter service from www.moderntrend.in to fix the damage.
Defective – If the item delivered to you is defective. A defect is the unfortunate result of a flaw in manufacturing, which hinders the intended use of the product (e.g. imbalance, wooden joints opening, etc). Please note that natural characteristics of the material used, like appearance or texture (especially for solid wood products) are not defects.
Difference – If the item delivered to you is different (in dimension, shape, or color) from the item image on our website.
Missing – If the product delivered to you is incomplete or has components missing.
Not Functional – If the product delivered to you is dead on arrival, this could occur in items with batteries or requiring electrical sources (like clocks, lights, and bulbs).
What’s Not Eligible For Return?
Installation Issues – Wall mounting installation services are not offered by www.moderntrend.in and therefore, return requests because of customer’s inability to get the product wall mounted will not be processed.
Relocation – After an item has been delivered to you in perfect condition, in the event of the subsequent dismantling of the item for relocation, reassembly, etc, please note that Modern Trend will not be responsible for any damage to the product.
How to Initiate a Return Request?
We request the customer’s to be present during delivery to ensure that they inspect the furniture properly at the time of delivery. In case of damage in the packing or of the product cannot be assembled properly or it is not functioning, the customer is requested to call helpline number +91 9811859897 or send email to firstname.lastname@example.org from the registered email id. The contact number can be reached on the working days from 10 AM to 6 PM. To inform us of the damage, take a clear photograph of the damaged product and e-mail it to our customer care mail id email@example.com Please also attach a copy of the invoice and mention the order number. Without these details, we will not be able to process your request. Upon receipt of complete details within 24 hours, we will be able to process your request. The rectification of the damaged products during warranty will take around 7 days from the time receipt of complaint and replacement will take up to 15 days from the receipt of the complaint. If the supplied product is found defective or for any other technical issue the product cannot be repaired or replaced, the customer will be given an option to purchase a similar product. The difference amount has to be borne by the customer or will be refunded in 6-7 business days, as the case may be. Modern Trend Office Solutions Private Limited does not offer exchanges. Your complete satisfaction is our only goal! In order to make this absolutely hassle-free, we will also pick up the product free of cost from your home.
The refund method shall be via cheque or NEFT transfer or transfer to the Credit Card/Debit Card from where the Payment had been made. The choice of the same shall lie Modern Trend Office Solutions Private Limited. Modern Trend shall notify the customer of such a transfer through email and/or through the phone. Please follow up with your respective bank/ card issuer post completion of the refund process by Modern Trend Office Solutions Private Limited, to check on the credit of the amount in your account. The refund will take 7 -15 working days from when it stands due as per the respective bank policies. In case of refunds made through cheques the same will be sent by courier within 7 working days. However, you need to consider transit time for the cheque to reach your place. Please contact our Customer Care team to initiate the return/cancellation process. You can contact us by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please ensure that e-mails from our customer care e-mail id do not go to your spam/quarantine folder. In such an event, Modern Trend Office Solutions Private Limited assumes no liability whatsoever. Products returned without intimation to as mentioned above will NOT be accepted and the same will be sent back to the customer and will not be processed for a refund. The cost incurred to send such materials back will have to be bear by the customer.
Your shipping address and pin code will be verified for serviceability with the database of Modern Trend before you proceed to pay for your purchase. If the area/pin code is not covered at the time of placement of an order or found to be non-serviceable any time during the processing of the order, we will request you to provide us with an alternate shipping address, which we expect to have within Modern Trend’s serviceable area. If there is any dispute regarding the shipment of the product or delivery of services for the area not covered by Modern Trend. Modern Trend will not be responsible for the non-delivery of the product or services. You can make purchases on the website from anywhere in the world but the shipping address must be within India, in an area serviceable by us. In case you book multiple orders for the products and services in one transaction, efforts will be made to ship all products together. However, this may not always be possible.
You can claim for replacement or return of the items that come under the warranty as offered by Modern Trend Office Solutions Pvt. Ltd.. The warranty is eligible for all types of manufacturing defects in the product.
